The Need

The Unreached

3 Billion Still Wait

Today, more than 3 billion people remain unreached with the gospel. These are men, women, and children who have little or no opportunity to hear the name of Jesus through a local church, believing friend, or accessible Scripture.

What Does “Unreached” Mean?

An unreached people group is a people group among whom there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize their own people without outside assistance.

Why the Unreached Matter

The majority of unreached people live in regions marked by persecution, poverty, conflict, isolation, political instability, or religious resistance. These are often the hardest places in the world to live openly for Christ and the hardest places for outsiders to access. Yet these are the very places where God is moving powerfully through faithful local believers.

Frontline Local Partners

LOCAL LEADERS ON THE FRONTLINES

Frontline Collective believes lasting gospel impact is strongest when it is led by local believers who deeply understand the people, culture, language, and realities of the communities they serve. Our frontline local partners are courageous men and women faithfully advancing the gospel in some of the hardest places in the world—often in environments marked by persecution, instability, isolation, and significant risk.

These partnerships are built through trusted relationships, shared theological conviction, and ongoing prayerful discernment. We prioritize long-term alignment, communication, accountability, and mutual trust as we come alongside local leaders already engaged in meaningful gospel work. Rather than directing ministry from the outside, our desire is to strengthen, support, and resource frontline initiatives in ways that reinforce healthy local leadership and sustainable long-term impact.

For the safety and security of many of our partners, we intentionally limit the public sharing of specific names, locations, and operational details. Even so, we remain deeply committed to standing alongside these faithful leaders as they serve courageously on the frontlines of gospel mission among the unreached.where it’s needed most.

With focused support and strategic partnerships, we have transformed local-led initiatives, leading to increased gospel outreach and community engagement.

Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!

Psalm 96:3, esv

FRONTLINE COUNTRIES

TARGETING HARD PLACES THROUGH TRUSTED LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS

Frontline Collective is strategically focused on some of the hardest-to-reach and least-reached regions in the world. These countries represent places where gospel access remains limited, persecution and instability are often significant, and local believers serve courageously in challenging environments. To help discern and prioritize regions with the greatest physical and spiritual need, Frontline Collective utilizes Stratus as one of our foundational strategic tools. Stratus aggregates global data related to gospel access, poverty, conflict, persecution, and humanitarian vulnerability to help identify places where the need—and opportunity for gospel impact—is greatest.

While every context is unique, these regions share a common reality: millions still live without meaningful access to the gospel. Through long-standing relationships and trusted partnerships with frontline local leaders, we are able to come alongside initiatives already advancing the hope of Christ within these communities. Our commitment is not built around short-term projects, but around long-term, relational partnership with faithful local believers serving on the frontlines of gospel mission.

Frontline Initiatives

ADVANCING THE GOSPEL THROUGH LOCAL-LED INITIATIVES

Frontline Collective partners with trusted local leaders serving in some of the hardest-to-reach places and among some of the least-reached people groups in the world. Because every context is different, the initiatives we support are not built around a single model or program, but around the unique opportunities, challenges, and needs present within each community.

These frontline initiatives are designed to strengthen gospel presence through both word and deed—advancing evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, humanitarian care, and long-term sustainability. Some initiatives focus on reaching isolated unreached communities with the gospel for the very first time, while others strengthen existing believers, develop local leaders, translate biblical resources, or create practical pathways for ongoing ministry presence in restricted environments.

At the center of every initiative is the same conviction: God is already at work in these places, and local believers are often best positioned to faithfully carry the gospel forward within their own people, culture, and context.
